"Springing Forward Into Insanity"

MARCH 24, 2014
- At about 4:25pm, Fresno Police were called to a group\care home near Garden and Holland for a report of a male client who was angry over a confiscation of a PlayStation 3, and tried to choke himself with a belt. After the belt was taken away, the male started to get violent with the staff.

- At about 6:08pm, Fresno Police were dispatched to the Regal Theater at Manchester Center for a report of indecent exposure...apparently, two men were laying on the grass between the theater and Freeway 41 having sex.

MARCH 28, 2014
- [From “The Fresno Bee"] At about 12:35pm, Fresno Police responded to the IRS building on Butler & Lane for a report of a 51-year old woman who recklessly drove into the parking lot, struck large traffic cones, and nearly hit a security guard driving a golf-cart. Twenty minutes later, she was involved in a accident at Belmont & Sixth when she drove on the wrong side of the road, and struck another vehicle. She ran from the scene, and was found at First & Belmont singing, yelling, and dancing on the sidewalk. According to police, the woman was not intoxicated, and appeared to be showing signs of mental illness. She was taken to Community Regional (CRMC) to be evaluated. Once released, she will face charges of assault with a deadly weapon, along with hit & run.

APRIL 1, 2014
- At about 5:18pm. Fresno Police were dispatched to the pedestrian walkway north of McKinley over Freeway 168 for male juveniles causing chaos...urinating onto the freeway, mooning, and flipping off traffic on the freeway.

APRIL 4, 2014
- At about 9:00pm, a Fresno Police cruiser was traveling on Herndon between Marks & Van Ness, when it was hit by an orange. The officer then witnessed more food (including hot dogs) being thrown onto the street, and hitting traffic.

APRIL 7, 2014
- At about 11:48am, Fresno Police were dispatched to the area of Shields & West for a report of a male walking around with a tire iron in a menacing manner.

APRIL 9, 2014
- At about 4:55pm, Fresno Police were dispatched to the Citibank at Blackstone & Ashlan for a report of a homeless male undressing in front of the business.

APRIL 10, 2014
- At about 2;30pm, a Route 30 FAX driver called his dispatcher stating that a known passenger (a “regular”) was “beating up” his bus (hitting it), and must have been high on some designer drug.

- At about 2:51pm, Fresno Police were dispatched to Radio Park (First & Clinton) for a report of an African-American female who got out of a black Mustang with a baseball bat, and started to beat up a male sitting on the grass.

APRIL 12, 2014
- At about 9:50pm, Burlington Northern\Santa Fe Railroad informed local emergency services that their train traveling near Clinton & College struck a baby seat that someone had left on the tracks...unknown if there was a baby in it or not. The train stopped, blocking traffic as Fresno Police and Fire responded to the area to search the tracks. They found one part of the seat near Clinton & College, and found the other part near Princeton & Maroa. THANKFULLY, no baby.

APRIL 13, 2014
- At about 6:35pm, Fresno Police were dispatched to the railroad tracks at Palm & Dakota for a report of a female dancing on the tracks.

- At about 11:10pm, Fresno Police were dispatched to Blackstone & Bullard for a hit-and-run accident. Before the driver took off, he brandished a handgun to his accident victim.
