- At about 5:30pm, first responders (law enforcement, fire, medics) were dispatched to Peach & Jensen for a major motor vehicle accident involving three vehicles...including an apparatus (Water Tender 65) from the Mountain Valley Fire Department, which had t-boned another car before flipping onto it’s roof. One patient was reportedly pinned in their vehicle (presumably the t-boned car). There was a large amount of debris from the accident, including equipment from the fire apparatus. The Water Tender was responding to a call at Code-3 (with lights and sirens on), and the t-boned car was moving into the intersection, ignoring the sirens, and was hit by the Water Tender, which then hit another car nearby. Three individuals (including a fireman) sustained minor injuries.
